VOCABULARY COURSE BY BRYAN MANGIN

寝室中の単語 - Inside the bedroom

Introduction

Today’s vocabulary course focuses on the interior of the bedroom. We are going to see 25 words related to everything we can find inside a bedroom, from furniture to everyday objects. I did not include clothing in this course because I have already dedicated a full course to it. I also didn’t include words already seen before, nor words like "radio". I think I’ll be doing a home appliance vocabulary course later in season three.
Also, a few katakanized words are borrowed from English as usual.
We can start.

Conclusion

Just a quick comment. The word 布団 . フトン can be translated as "quilt" although in English the word has been taken to designate the typical Japanese quilt.
I quickly come back to the word 座卓テーブル . ザタクテーブル which means "the rectangular coffee table". This word does designate a rectangular coffee table. And the word コーヒーテーブル ? He means "the coffee table", that is to say the table where one serves coffee, where one receives people for a coffee, and which does not necessarily have a rectangular shape.
Now that all these explanations have been given, I can finally leave you to your homework. You know the song: keep working well, don’t hesitate to go back to review previous lessons and continue your writing practice. Refreshing your memory is just as important.
Thank you for taking the time to read this course and we will meet up in the next chapter.
