Today, a little vocabulary lesson on musical instruments. If you look closely at the title of the lesson, you will see the word 楽器 . ガッキ which we have already seen before.
Many musical instruments arrived in Japan with the opening of the country to the West. Therefore, all the musical instruments presented below are written in katakana, a good opportunity to get you to practice. Moreover, some instruments have more than one transcription in katakana. I am not giving you any instruments from Japan. I’m saving these for season two.
The names of these instruments are mainly derived from English.
