In Japan, conventional apartments and houses, as well as entire accommodations reserved for rental, are generally equipped with a washing machine. Arrived at the same time as the television and other household appliances, the electric washing machine quickly became an essential element of everyday life. Well, not much to say about this vocabulary list. Just remember that the word ランドリーバスケット to designate "the laundry basket" is used more than its synonym 洗濯物のバスケット. Then, the last word 洗濯屋 designates the store where you can drop off your laundry and wash it. Ditto for the words ランドリーショップ and ランドリーストア.
